Mark Tucker
Charlotte & Western NC Sales Manager

After working briefly in the banking industry in Charlotte, Mark switched to the electrical industry in 1992. He started in distribution at Bryant Electric Supply at the Concord, NC and Charlotte, NC locations including counter and inside sales. He then worked for The Jim Burton Agency in outside sales for 6 years. In 2002, Mark joined EPG working the Charlotte Metro and western NC territory.

Mark and his wife, Julie, live in Waxhaw (a suburb of Charlotte), NC with their son, Jacob, and a sheltie named Lucy.

Hobbies: Collectible Cars, Jukeboxes, Fishing

Barr Kennedy
Marketing Manager

• Attended Furman University
  Banking & Finance Degree

Barr started his career in the banking industry and then decided to sell electrical products in 1976 as a manufacturer's rep. Barr joined EPG in 2000 as our marketing manager calling on corporate offices for the entire territory. Barr has been involved in sales of almost all types of electrical products.

Barr lives in Charlotte, NC with his daughter, Gracie.

Matt Wagoner
Central NC and Western VA Sales Manager

• Attended University of North Carolina at Greensboro
  BS in Management & Marketing

Matt started working for EPG in 2000 as an inside sales representative. In 2004, he moved to outside sales and covers Central NC and Western VA.

Matt and his wife, Tammy, reside in Brown Summit, NC.

Hobbies: Fishing

Richard Franklin
Eastern NC Sales Manager

Since 1982, he has held the following positions in Electrical Distribution:

• Electrical Distributor - Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Outside Sales

• National Buying Group - Account Executive, Member & Vendor Relations

• Manufacturers Representative - Specifications Product Specialist, Sales Manager

Richard joined EPG in 1994 as a Specifications Product Specialist and has been responsible for Eastern NC Territory Sales since 1999.

Richard and his wife, Kimberly, reside in Wilmington, NC with their son, Ryan.

Hobbies: Enjoys snow skiing and trips to the beach

Tony Gossett
Lower SC Sales Manager

• Graduated in 1974 from Limestone College in Gaffney, SC
  BA Degree in Business Administration

Worked in all areas of the electrical industry for over 31 years:

• Worked in electrical distribution side of the business for almost two years

• Manufactures representative for a major company for approximately 5 years

• Worked in the rep agency side of the business for 24 years

Tony, employed since 1987, covers the midlands and the coastal area of SC. His main focus is calling on the wholesale distribution channel with emphasis on the specifying engineering community, industrial plants and the electrical contractor.

Tony and his wife, Amy, reside in Lexington, SC.

Steve Deaver
Upstate SC Sales Manager

• Served in US Air Force, Security Service in the communications field

• Attended Angelo State University

Worked in all areas of the electrical industry since 1975:

• Estimator for Electrical Contractor

• Electrical Distribution-Purchasing, Operations Manager and Branch Manager

• Manufacturers Representative - Outside Sales

Steve has worked for EPG since 1996, covering the upstate of SC, calling on Specifying Engineers, Industrial Plants, Electrical Contractors and working with local Electrical Distribution.

Steve and his wife, Jane, reside in Simpsonville in the upstate of SC.

Steve and Jane have two children and three grandchildren.

C.B. Farnsworth
Virginia Sales Manager

• Attended Virginia Commonwealth University
  Bachelor Degree in Marketing

C.B. joined EPG in 2006. He worked in the plumbing industry since 1984 with 8 years experience as a manufacturer's rep.

C.B. and his wife, Sherrie, live in Midlothian, VA with their two sons, Chase and Austin.

Hobbies: Enjoys the beach, Tennis and Snow Skiing
 

Pete McCormick

• Attended UVA, Charlottesville, VA

• Attended UMD College Park
  Received BA in Urban Planning with Minor in Business and Architecture

Pete started his career in Electrical Craft Trades in the Washington, DC area from 1973 to 1978 as a Master Electrician and Journeyman Electrician.  He became a territory salesman for HILTI Fastening Systems in the Greenville, SC area from 1978-1980.  Pete then became a territory salesman for an electrical manufacturer’s rep from 1980 to 2007.  Pete joined EPG in 2007 as a Product Specialist covering NC, SC and VA.

Pete resides in Greenville with his wife Patricia and their 3 children, Patrick, Moira and Aileen. 

Hobbies: Canoeing, golf, snorkeling, sailing and skiing (and in his spare time, supporting North Carolina’s finest Colleges and Universities.)
